Field Day Curriculum

Is your elementary school interested in scheduling a field trip to the golf course? First Tee - Omaha has a program entitled a "Field Day Curriculum" designed for elementary aged youth to gain exposure to the game of golf. This program offers elementary school students with the opportunity to visit our Steve Hogan Golf Course Learning Center at Miller Park or other golf course programming locations. The "Field Day Curriculum" provides students with a day filled with educational (math, science, and agronomy) and physical activity (an introduction to golf). In addition, the lesson plan can also include a focus on one of our 9 Core Values or 9 Healthy Habits. Both morning sessions and afternoon sessions can be scheduled so this can work well for two or three classes from one school to enjoy a day at the golf course.
